In this region of textile tradition, livestock farming is very present and can be explored through farm visits and tastings, such as at the educational farm “La chèvre et le paysan” in Claveisolles.

Beaujolais Vert is an ideal destination for nature lovers, hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers. It offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. The Sapin Lake in Cublize, in particular, is worth a visit.
But heritage enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy, with many remarkable sites surrounding Logis Hôtel Burnichon: the Sainte Marie de la Tourette Monastery in Eveux, the Bartélémy Thimonnier Museum of the sewing machine and cycling in Amplepuis, and the stunning medieval villages made of golden stones in Beaujolais, such as Oingt, the jewel of these villages, recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, perched above the Beaujolais vineyards…
